Diana Fraser, Founder | Starting when she taught herself back handsprings in the snow, Diana has always loved being athletic! Being captain of the cheerleaders in high school, on the women's gymnastics team at the University of Illinois, being a hotdog on waterskiis, teaching a bit of tennis, teaching a bit of diving, what more could a tomboy ask for? After receiving a Bachelor of Science in Recreation and Park Administration from the University of Illinois, Diana realized she’d better get serious! She had various jobs, including selling memberships and teaching aerobics at President’s First Lady, working a few other indoor jobs, Diana then married, and with the support of her husband started a lifeguard management company in Houston, Texas! Teaching everything herself, from lifeguard training to swimming, diving, pool maintenance and repairs, Diana started in 1985 with 5 community swimming pool contracts. Her daughters and many longtime key employees have taken over day-to-day operations, growing the business to over 75 pools. Diana is now free to dabble in things that she loves, including Hanging Yoga and healthy lifestyles! She raises money for Multiple Sclerosis by riding the MS150 from Houston to Austin, she rock climbs and rapels with her son and loves the not-so-ordinary sports and activities.
Randi Rogers, Sub-Instructor | As a child Randi remembers watching yoga for kids VHS tapes which her mom bought for her. Later, at the age of 17, she rekindled her love and interest in yoga when she began practicing yoga on a nightly basis. Throughout her childhood of playing soccer, she didn’t stretch properly, a situation that resulted in stiff muscles. When she reached 20, she was granted the wonderful opportunity to study abroad at an eco hostel called the Yoga Farm in Costa Rica. It was at this hostel that she learned the benefits and dedication of a daily yoga regime as she practiced under a yogi named Erica Hartnick who at the time specialized in Heart Flow yoga. From that time in her life, she became hooked and throughout college and post college she found herself practicing and attending as many yoga classes as she could. This past year while living in Boulder, she finally took the step to get yin yoga certified under the wonderful teacher Heidi Beachley. Since then Randi has been teaching and practicing in local parks and many yoga studios in the Northwest Houston area. She hopes to develop her yoga teaching skills to eventually teach yin style classes to veterans and former drug addicts. In the mean time, at age 23, she is enjoying practicing and studying with as many yogis as she can. Randi looks forward to achieving fulfillment teaching others yoga skills and philosophies as well as relating this knowledge to the art of aerial yoga! She holds a degree in Natural Science and a minor in Journalism from Eckerd College.
